Prior to her appointment, Sandrine Uwituze served as product owner at the Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB), where she led agile-driven digital transformation projects, including the ISHEMA contribution collection engine, the Ejo Heza savings platform, and the e-Kimina solution for savings groups.
Sandrine Uwituze has joined Africa Global Logistics (AGL) as the deployment lead.
She brings to the role a strong background in digital transformation, software development, and agile project management, with experience spanning product ownership, systems deployment, software engineering, and project management consulting.
Before joining AGL, Sandrine worked at the Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB), where she first served as a project management consultant and later as a product owner. At RSSB, she introduced agile methodologies, enhanced collaboration across teams, and successfully led the execution of several digital transformation initiatives. She also oversaw flagship products such as the ISHEMA contribution collection engine, the Ejo Heza long-term savings platform, and the e-Kimina savings groups solution.
Her earlier career includes roles as a software engineering consultant at SoftPi, a Software Engineer at WiredIn, and an IT Support Engineer at Envy Data Solutions, where she worked on ERP systems, backend development, and digital platforms. She also contributed to the Education Resilience Program with Agahozo Shalom and the Rwanda Education Board, developing an e-learning platform to support digital education.
Sandrine holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the Adventist University of Central Africa. She is also a registered Scrum Master by Scrum Inc.
