Faith will play a key role as the board seeks to strengthen governance, technology and digital transformation while expanding its investment banking business.
Faith Nkatha Gitonga has joined Capital A Investment Bank as a non-executive director of the Company.
She is a digital transformation and strategy leader with over 15 years of experience and most recently served as the interim country director and head of technology & digital transformation at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
Faith began her career in 2008 at SBM Bank Kenya, where she rose through the ranks over eight years to head the institutional banking department. She then joined Sidian Bank where she served as director of strategy, transformation and monitoring before moving to Oracle to lead digital transformation for Kenya’s public sector. In 2020, she joined the fintech industry through her role as country manager at Cellulant Kenya, before joining the Tony Blair Institute.
She holds a Bcom from the University of Nairobi and a MA in psychology (corporate focus) from USIU-Africa. She also holds executive education credentials from Yale University and the University of Berkley California and a leadership certification from the Gordon Institute of Business Science delivered in partnership with Strathmore Business School.
