Faith Nkatha Gitonga is the interim country director and head of technology and digital transformation at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.

She began her professional journey in 2008 at SBM Bank Kenya, where she rose through the ranks over eight years to head the institutional banking department. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as director of strategy, transformation and monitoring at Sidian Bank, before joining Oracle in 2017 to lead digital transformation for Kenya’s public sector. She then moved to fintech, taking up the role of country manager at Cellulant Kenya in 2020, where she played a key role in market growth and regulatory licensing. Since 2023, she has been leading strategic digital initiatives across sectors such as e-government, AI, cloud infrastructure and financial inclusion at the Tony Blair Institute.

Faith holds a Master of Arts in psychology with a corporate focus from United States International University-Africa, and a Bachelor of Commerce in marketing from the University of Nairobi. She has completed executive education in sustainability and leadership, innovative change, and decision-making from institutions including the Swedish Institute of Management, UC Berkeley and Yale School of Management.
