Emmanuella joins the bank from BPR Bank Rwanda, where she has served as Head of Technology and Cybersecurity since 2022.
NCBA Rwanda has appointed Emmanuella Nzahabonimana as its new Chief Operating Officer, reinforcing the bank’s executive leadership with deep expertise in technology and cybersecurity.
Nzahabonimana joins the bank from BPR Bank Rwanda, where she has served as Head of Technology and Cybersecurity since 2022. Over the years, she has built a strong track record in driving digital transformation, strengthening cyber resilience and leading technology operations within the banking sector.
In her new role at NCBA Rwanda, she will oversee key functions including IT, marketing, operations, customer experience and procurement, positioning her at the centre of the bank’s operational and digital transformation agenda.
Her appointment comes as financial institutions across the region continue to accelerate investments in digital banking, operational efficiency and cybersecurity capabilities.
