Arthur Nyakoojo joins Ugafode Microfinance as head of IT

His career spans across two decades with skills in IT governance, banking systems administration and digital transformation.

Arthur Nyakoojo has been appointed head of IT at Ugafode MicrofinanceUganda.

He has been in the IT industry for the last two decades and has experience in Information technology leadership, digital transformation, IT governance and banking systems administration

Before his appointment, he was the IT manager at Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation Uganda where he had been since 2022.

Arthur has also worked at Brac Uganda as the head of IT and Barclays Bank where he was the head of global technology infrastructure and services.

In his new position at Ugafode, he will oversee the company’s digital transformation agenda and tech strategy.

He holds an MSc in ICT management, policy and architectural design from Uganda Martyrs University.
