Uzma Qureishi is the senior manager for EHR operations at Aga Khan University Hospital, East Africa.
With nearly two decades at the hospital, Uzma has played a central role in advancing digital transformation within the organisation. Before transitioning into healthcare technology, Uzma gained experience as a market research analyst at Synovate in Perth, Australia, where she developed analytical and strategic insights into consumer behaviour. She also worked as a production coordinator for the Kenyan edition of the television game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? an experience that contributed to her organisational and project coordination skills.
Uzma recently completed a certificate in organisational leadership at Aga Khan University through the developing health leaders for tomorrow programme, designed to equip healthcare professionals with strategic leadership capabilities. She also holds the globally recognised project management professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in business, with a double major in marketing and international business, from Edith Cowan University in Australia.
