Deborah Ngina Mutungi is the group information technology manager at Sarova Hotels.

Since March 2024, Deborah has been responsible for aligning technology with business strategy, ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure and high-quality systems that support operations across Sarova Hotels.
Prior to this role, Deborah served as acting group IT manager at Sarova Hotels, where she provided leadership across IT functions, supporting resource planning, operational execution and technology alignment. She also held the role of cluster IT manager, managing systems integration, infrastructure and support across multiple properties while coordinating project delivery and IT service operations.
Earlier in her career, Deborah worked at Sarova Panafric Hotel as ICT manager. She oversaw day-to-day ICT operations, provided strategic direction on systems and platforms, and ensured alignment between technology and business objectives.
She began her professional journey at Sarova Panafric Hotel as an ICT assistant, where she supported system monitoring, network administration, user training and vendor management.
Deborah also gained early industry experience as an ICT intern at Bidco Africa in 2004, where she supported user training and IT operations.
