11 September 2026 - Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Summit: Future-ready CIO - AI & Digital Transformation

post-title

Exclusive for: CIOs, CTOs and IT executives

Location: Dar es Salaam

Date & Time: 11 September 2026 17:00

Following the successful launch of the CITO Tanzania community on 11 June, the conversation continues on 11 September as CIOs and senior technology leaders reconvene for the second CITO Tanzania Summit.
Under the theme "Future-Ready CIO: AI & Digital Transformation," the Summit will explore how technology leaders are preparing their organisations for an increasingly AI-driven future while accelerating digital transformation initiatives that deliver tangible business outcomes. As the role of the CIO continues to evolve from technology custodian to strategic business leader, the discussion will focus on the vision, leadership, and innovation required to navigate a rapidly changing digital landscape.
Building on the momentum established at the inaugural gathering, the Summit will bring together CIOs to exchange insights, share experiences, and examine the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and enterprise-wide transformation. The event will also provide a platform for strengthening collaboration among Tanzania's technology leaders and advancing conversations that are shaping the future of business and technology across the country.
