Paul Njoroge is the head of IT at Hand in Hand Eastern Africa.
He is responsible for managing ICT projects, shaping internal systems and ensuring that technology supports operational efficiency. His work includes identifying opportunities to improve business processes through technology, assessing both technical and practical fit, and integrating new systems into existing workflows.
Alongside this, he manages ICT policy development, vendor relationships and infrastructure, including equipment lifecycle management. His role extends into staff training, where he supports teams in adopting and using technology tools effectively, and ensures new staff are introduced to systems through structured onboarding.
Paul’s time at Hand in Hand Eastern Africa spans more than a decade, during which he has grown through multiple roles. He previously served as ICT manager, where he was involved in the day-to-day running of the IT function, contributing to strategy, budgeting and system implementation while supporting users across the organisation.
Earlier in his career, Paul worked at Diamond Systems, where he held roles as ICT officer and ICT technical supervisor. In these positions, he focused on system implementation and support, working directly with clients to install and maintain management information systems, design network infrastructure and support transitions to new technology platforms.
He began his career as an intern at Kenya Power, where he provided first-level technical support, handled user queries and gained early experience in troubleshooting and system maintenance.
