Michael Monda

Michael Monda is the principal ICT officer at the African Trade & Investment Development Insurance (ATIDI).

He began his career in 2004 as an ICT help desk assistant at Citi Bank Kenya before moving into software and database programming at Ascribe. He later served as a systems administrator at Iway Africa and as a network administrator at Nation Media Group. In 2008, Michael joined ATIDI as an ICT specialist, steadily rising through the ranks to senior ICT officer in 2018 and principal ICT officer in 2022.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science from Kenyatta University and a diploma from the Institute for the Management of Information Systems. He is also a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), and has several other advanced certifications in networking, security, cloud, and emerging technologies.
