Lilian Kamara is the IT manager at AAR Healthcare Uganda.
Lilian joined AAR Healthcare Uganda in May 2016 as IT systems officer, a role she held for close to eight years before being promoted to her current position.
Beyond her role at AAR Healthcare, Lilian is secretary-general of the Internet Society Uganda chapter, a position she was appointed to in April 2023 after joining the chapter in 2017 and serving on its projects committee. She is also an ICANN fellow, having attended ICANN66, ICANN72 and ICANN75, and has been active with AFCHIX, an organisation that supports women in technology, since 2013.
Lilian holds a BSc in computer science from Makerere University, and a Master's degree in ICT management, policy and architectural design at Uganda Martyrs University.
