Kyomugisha Juliet Buseero is the head of technology services at Ecobank Uganda, a position she has held since August 2023. She leads technology strategy, digital transformation, operational resilience, risk management and governance for the bank, working to align technology with business goals while strengthening controls and service delivery.
Juliet joined Ecobank Uganda in January 2019 as a network infrastructure support officer, a role in which she managed the bank's network infrastructure, including device configuration, traffic monitoring and IT security, alongside day-to-day IT support and risk management for the business.
She built the earlier part of her career at Uganda Telecommunications Corporation Limited where she joined as customer service adviser in November 2007 before becoming a management trainee in July 2008. She then worked as a dispatch technician from February 2009, before moving into networking as an access network administrator in December 2010. In July 2013 she was promoted to access network engineer, designing and maintaining core and access network infrastructure across DSL, fibre-to-the-home, cable modem and fixed wireless access technologies, a position she held until April 2017.
Juliet holds a bachelor's degree in information technology from Makerere University. She has also completed several Cisco Networking Academy programmes, including in computer systems networking and telecommunications, computer hardware technology and network and system administration.
