Diana Tukundane Agaba is the chief information security officer (CISO) at Stanbic Bank Uganda.
Previously she was the head of IT at the same bank between September 2022 and June 2026 before she was promoted to CISO in July 2026.
She started her career in February 2007 as a sales engineer at ZTE, where she worked until August 2008. She then joined Stanbic Bank as a network support engineer and was later promoted to team leader of information security in July 2015. She held this position until May 2018, when she moved to dfcu Bank, serving initially as an IT security specialist for cyber defence and later as manager of IT security, standards and architecture. She rejoined Stanbic Bank in 2022.
Diana holds a Bachelor’s in telecommunications engineering from Kyambogo University, an MSc in management and information systems from the University of Manchester, and an executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business.
